The works consisted of the demolition of the existing cricket pavilion and the construction of a much needed new multifunctional Community Centre.
The facilities included a new main hall for various activities including indoor bowls, a youth hall, sports changing facilities and referee room, along with a committee room and kitchen bar and toilet facilities.
A new purpose made grounds-man's store was provided along with new parking facilities, and pathway access to Romsey Road.
