Construction of new activity centre comprising Climbing Centre, Viewing Gallery, Cafeteria, Classroom, Welfare & Changing Facilities, Skate Park, Extensive Car Parking and associated external works.
The Activity Centre was constructed on playing fields located on the outskirts of Chippenham at the end of Westmead lane. Shared access needed to be maintained to the car park and fields for dog walkers and leisure walkers. Similar secured fencing as proposed for Doric Sports Pavilion was used and worked well. High quality finishes were provided with climbing walls, changing and welfare facilities as well as classroom, offices and entertainment facilities.
Externally, we provided a Skate Park, new parking and refurbishment of existing parking areas together with necessary flood precautions, fencing and footpaths.
