New Commercial Vehicle Sales and Servicing Facility

Construction of a new Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle sales showroom and servicing workshops together with extensive external drainage and hard landscaping works.

The development was of an 11,000m² site which the previous use had been railway sidings. Made ground covered the site which necessitated ground improvement treatment works by way of “vibro-compaction” involving 2500no. stone column piles placed across the site to increase the ground bearing capacity for the building and external areas to be constructed.

Rigg Construction (Southern) Limited successfully completed and handed over the project to the client on time and within contract sum in August 2016.
