Having celebrated in July 2009, twenty years of trading within the construction industry, based in Melksham, Wiltshire, Rigg Construction (Southern) Ltd are now looking to the future, continuing to build on the solid history of previous years, in the South West.

Consolidating our growth and expansion, we aim to maintain our strong ties within the education sector, having established a name as a reputable, reliable and local main contractor. We link with local authorities, providing them real value for money, as well as negotiating and dealing with local schools directly, as can be seen from our Post 16 Centre at John Bentley School in Calne, which in June 2009, won the LABC regional building excellence award for ‘Best Educational Building’.

We offer a complete service of new build, refurbishment and alterations, and maintenance contracts, from our permanent staff of approximately 50, including qualified and experienced contract and site managers, supported by skilled and trained operatives on site, a dedicated team at head office, including a qualified in-house code assessor, and a comprehensive, approved list of professional subcontractors.

Many of our projects are for repeat clients through various contractual arrangements including tender, negotiation and partnering, and our customer base is varied, covering, housing, education, industrial, commercial, and leisure sectors.
